Celebs about food
“There is no love sincerer than the love of food” George Bernard Shaw confessed once and most of our celebrities can’t stand but agree completely with it. Therefore, here we come with some of the sexiest women in showbiz pronouncing their gut-busting cravings:
Halle Berry
'I have a real weakness for McDonalds burgers and Diet Coke. I do eat healthily but I can't resist a burger and a Coke. I drink Diet Coke all day long. Other people drink water, I drink Coke. At the same time, I do some sort of cardio four or five times a week whether it be running, biking, rowing or stairs. I also do weight training but not heavy weights. It is never my goal to bulk up. I just want to stay healthy and trim and fit, so that I am able to be agile as I get older.'
Penelope Cruz
'I love In and Out (American burger chain). I do it once a week. I get a treat for myself. I usually have a double-double burger and fries. Nevertheless, I try to eat healthily the rest of the time. I work out three or four times a week, something like that.'
Cameron Diaz
'I have a thing for leftovers. If I order something and don't eat it all I'll save it for the next day. I hate wasting food because I love it too much to throw it out. But you know what, first of all, in America the portions are huge so I often ask for a half order. That means it's half the fat! But it's all about balance. It's about knowing when you've had enough.'
Kylie Minogue
' I'm not a dieter and I don't do anything to keep myself in trim. I just enjoy myself - everything in moderation.I eat junk food, pretty much anything I want - dark chocolate, chips, ice cream - a bit of everything. I love to drink tequila too.'
Beyonce Knowles
'After losing weight for Dreamgirls I ate everything; fried chicken, cheeseburgers, French fries, pancakes, doughnuts - everything I could find. That was the best time of my life. I gained 12 pounds. But now I have to slow it down because junk food is my big weakness. I still have some but I have to be careful. Normally, I'm the worst at exercise other than dancing, which keeps me pretty fit. When I'm working, I do take care of myself. I try to eat healthily and stay away from the bad food as much as I can. Discipline is very important.'
Sarah Jessica Parker
' I think there's too much emphasis on losing weight so my advice would be, don't compare yourself to actors who have a lot of money and can hire a fitness coach or yoga trainer to come to their homes. I'm an eater and I love junk food. I'm going to wake up one day and I'll be triple my size and I'll say, "Ha, joke's on me!" I love Chinese food - any junk food basically - and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.'
Charlize Theron
'South Africans love their food. I love red meat - for breakfast it is steak and eggs. I love cheese, meat, pizza and fries. My best meal would be a traditional braai (South African barbeque) made on a wood fire with spicy sausages, juicy lamb chops, baked potatoes, salads and all the trimmings.'
Kate Winslet
'I used to worry about eating the right thing but now I just eat what I want, when I want. I love eating out and ordering in. There isn't a junk food that's been invented that I haven't had. I try to take care of myself but I am not freaky about it. I work out regularly but no more than anyone else. I'm not one of these sex symbols who doesn't eat. I accept I am a womanly shape. I know from the men I've ever spoken to that they like their girls to have an arse on them!'
Eva Longoria
' It's terrible but I barely do anything. I work out very occasionally but I don't worry about dieting or going on strict health food regimes. I can eat what I want. I'm just lucky I guess. I eat a lot. I love spaghetti with meatballs and I make a great pumpkin pie and great mashed potatoes. I have pizza once a week. I can't resist it.'
Gwyneth Paltrow
'I am very careful about what I eat but I still treat myself. There is a place near where we live in London that does the most amazing margarita pizza. I've had so many that when I phone in they instantly know what I want. Once in a while I'll have chocolate cake too. And if you ask me how I stay fit , I’ll tell you: Two girdles! It's a great trick. That's how all the Hollywood girls do it. There are these great things called Spanx, which are like bike shorts, and they just squeeze you in. It's terrific.'
